The Czech National Bank warns against the "Wealth Acceleration Program" investment campaign. It is spreading on WhatsApp.

The Czech National Bank (ČNB) warns of a suspicious campaign spread via WhatsApp encouraging people to buy shares in TechCreate Group Ltd. (ISIN KYG8726A1067, ticker TCGL) traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange.

The campaign, referred to as the "Wealth Acceleration Program," promises extraordinary returns on investment and is based on the so-called "coordinated purchase" of shares by retail investors. These characteristics may fulfill the criteria for a manipulative technique known as pump and dump (a manipulation whereby the price of shares is artificially inflated and then quickly sold).

The CNB therefore recommends that investors:

• be cautious about unsolicited investment offers disseminated through social networks,
• do not share personal data or purchase confirmations with unverified persons,
• verify information with reliable sources.
